Do you have a different running board on your rig? Are those power? I’m looking for something different because of the short wife. Thanks
Those are AMP XL auto drop running boards. I use them on my 2500HD as that housing allows them to drop an extra 2 inches. I used the standard drop on my 1500, as I like the drop distance better and you don't lose much clearance. If your truck isn't lifted, the XL will ride low (his is lifted).

I've got detailed threads work install photos on both. They are not plug n play, so if you do them yourself you will be splicing wires into the BCM harness, which is a PIA.
