Dash Light -- "Crash" Symbol Where The Car Distance Is Displayed

This is why I try to turn the crazy nanny stuff off where I can. Like lane assist. I dont need no assistance staying between the lines. Learned how to do that when I learned to color. First time I ever used adaptive cruise control and it automatically slowed down to a crawl on the interstate I was like WTF. Turned that off too.

Yeah, I've killed Gremlins like that in the past, but with all the crap I've read about the common problems with these trucks, I just figured it was FUBAR and would have to see the dealer. Glad y'all proved me wrong. (My F-150 never had these issues. ;) )

I know whatcha mean. I'm a pretty aggressive driver. In our daily commuter car (Hyundai Elantra Hybrid), I've had some close proximity high-speed, low-gap passes and the car's nearly made me wreck.

I've learned to be slightly less erratic so the car's safety systems doesn't kill
I've had it happen to me a few times at night on the open road when we did our South Dakota trip in 23 Coming up over a hill or around a corner it thinks the lights from the oncoming traffic is in my lane and slams on the brakes at 75 or 80.

It is a feature we can turn off I believe in the settings
