Considering a new ZR2 with 6.2 V8

I doubt GMC/Chevrolet will eliminate V8s...they have made money for YEARS from Small Block engines.... and these are VERY important to them unlike Ford or even Toyota.
Probably the V8s will be around as hybrids.....
