I have had so many modified trucks with everything from Rancho in the 80's and 90's to BDS and the other one in Kali that is more expensive. These shocks are the best I have ever used even in very harsh driving conditions. Cannot wait until it gets hot (115) to try them out then. Never had any from Bilstein to Fox that did not fade somewhat in the extreme heat while being worked. Always get a kick out of the mall crawlers with quad shock mounts. Talk about a rough ride. Do think these will be the future of the performance oriented on road/off road shock hands down. As time goes on prices will come down as using this "technology" will be competing products.I’m pretty happy with the dssv’s, they really make the zr2 one of the best riding stock trucks. But the zr2 suspension package w/ springs is $4500 from GM, so some quick armchair math says that if they aren’t rebuildable I definitely won’t be buying new ones ever. For that price I’d rather buy something that could be rebuilt.
