I added the Kicker sub from the dealer. Not perfect but not terrible. Miss my old Honda civic with a killer diamond audio and JL system. Maybe I cant hear how bad it is because I lost some hearing from the old days.....

I've got a Bose system in another vehicle that cost almost double what my ZR2 cost and it sounds even worse. Bose is over hyped crapHas anyone else been disappointed by the poor sound quality of the Bose system. I'm not usually a sound system guy but Bose seems to suck these days. Any thoughts?
Bose has ALWAYS been crap compared to what others are using in the market.I've got a Bose system in another vehicle that cost almost double what my ZR2 cost and it sounds even worse. Bose is over hyped crap
my bose in my 21 denali was second to none for a factory radio. it was 100% the opposite of my 22 ZR2 bose. music is subjective but clarity is clarity. imo, bose dropped the ball.Bose has ALWAYS been crap compared to what others are using in the market.
For the most part, I agree. In the late 70s and 80s they really couldn't be matched for home use. Sadly they rode the 901 series WAY too long with no innovation and it wasn’t until the SoundLink came along that it looked like they were back on track. Alas, another one and done release of quality. These days you’re buying a brand name not performance. Especially in the automotive space.Bose has ALWAYS been crap compared to what others are using in the market.
I'm sorry...what did you say? Couldn't hear ya.....For the most part, I agree. In the late 70s and 80s they really couldn't be matched for home use. Good thing for me that I have so much hearing loss from the military that you could put me in front of a $500 vs $50,000 set up and I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the difference. Soooooooo my rig is just fine to me with the factory “Bose”
I never pulled the trigger. Now you get to tell us how they sound, lol.How does it sound? I purchased these based on recommendation of being. 3ohm. I am having them installed next week.
