The light on the dash stays on even though it is not active anymore?

I just bought this. Under the hood hookup in 5 minutes. Can also be easily removed or disabled.

Much better. Reminds me of my wife’s Ford. Simple 2 pin connector at the battery cable and stop start is gone.

No. It’s a dead switch. No indication of function or malfunction.

If you buy the unit I have, the light stays on...the switch is disabled and does nothing. The Auto S/S is permanently off just as it should be. No reason at all to have a device where you can still turn it on and off. The whole reason for buying it and installing it was to TURN IT OFF

Yep...my opinion and my wife most always agrees with me Why buy a S/S shutoff only to turn it back on??? Crazy!

Lol - no clue. I want to know why even more Chevy even put that in as an option.
