A/C seems to take a long time to get going

Well another week and I've determined my AC in my seats just ain't working right. Takes 1/2 hour to get them to slightly cool. I guess I'll have to run it into the dealer.

Hotter than a snakes ass in a wagon rut at the 4th of July picnic here. We set another record for the month with 101 average daily temp I also set a record for my power bill. That's 6 tanks of diesel right there.

Also, I think my seat base is loose as I feel it shift when I turn sharply or enter a driveway. Had that happen twice to my wife's previous Tahoe and there was a TSB for it to replace base hardware.

From what was said somewhere above, the seats are not plumbed with cool air, just a fan to blow air up your ass. Maybe the dealer told me?!
BTW that is too f'n hot for this Seattle native!

In the settings there is a setting to change the fan speed to low, med, or high at start up. Mine came set at medium. Changing it to high makes a difference.

Mine blows cold air 55-60F very quickly, but takes forever to cool down the cabin. The airflow is terrible, I can't seem to get the vents pointed just right.
I find if you run the dash vents first, you get the air moving a little better. Then split with the the floor. You should be able to get air that's below 50.

I checked mine today with an analog and infrared temp sensor after about 20 minutes of run time on max AC dash vents only. Seems like temps were in the low to mid 40s, so pretty good. It was 106 ambient.

My seats were only showing 75-80. Not getting much air flowing through them.

Mine gets comfortable cool after a min of 10-15 min. Freeway rides are quicker. Takes the seats a Looonnnggg time. But I do feel the difference with the seats off.
