You are correct about who they service per the document. My point was it will be no different for all of us.Dealers are only supposed to service on the lot vehicles with recall 0001 it states it multiple times in the document.
does anyone in the "wild" have recall 0001 for their actual vehicle?
I have yet to see anything come out on that recall...though I'm sure it will be the same procedure.
I'll change my oil to 0w40 at my next interval if there's no "remedy" by then but...I'm no more worried then I was prior to this BS.
Does irritate me that I bought 3 cases of 0w20 though a month ago though.
I’m not any more or less worried than I was before either. I have the 0000 recall for mine. Granted, it too technically says inspect, repair/replace or change the oil. Even though it says no remedy on it lol.
