I just picked up a 2024 ZR2 Bison 1500 with the 6.2L V8 and am looking to add spacers. After doing some research, I found that a lot of people recommend the Bora 1.5" spacers because they supposedly don't require trimming the OEM studs. However, when I went to install them last night, I found out that trimming the OEM studs is necessary. I don’t want to go any bigger than 1.5” and I’d prefer not to do any trimming. Does anyone have suggestions for other options, or would the best route be to change wheels with an offset?

Offset is always the better answer, especially for heavy offroading or towing. -12 offset is about the same as 1.5" spacers.

You don't have to trim the lugs if you hog out the wheels with a die grinder. Either way your moving metal. You'll feel better about it after the first couple cuts.
