Window Vent Deflectors: stick on or in-channel? (bug shield talk, also)

i've had both in the past on various vehicles. one of the stick ons blew off my last truck in a car wash, had no issues with the next set installed. can't recall ever having any issues with the in-channel deflectors.

what do you prefer, stick on or in-channel, and why, if a reason other than "i just prefer it"?

also, any reco's on bug shield? i think the one on my last truck was a lund and had no issues with it.

I have the Lund in channel vent visors and bug shield. The in-channel visors are more low profile and catch less wind, so less noise. They also are solid matte black, not translucent, so they are more rigid and don't have that brown or purple look in the sunlight - same with the bug shield - low profile and matte black. Perfect compliments to my Summit white with everything blacked out. (I need to update my pic with the new additions)
