I installed four 1.5” wheel spacers on my 2024 Silverado ZR2. At first inspection, I was rubbing in the front when I cut the wheels all the way. So I cut my front bumper for some extra clearance and I thought I was good because I’m not rubbing anymore.
Now when I cut the wheel half way or more to one side or the other, it feels like I’m rubbing. I can hear some mechanical clicking or suspension noise but when I get out and look, I’m not rubbing. ??? I can feel resistance on the roll of the truck too. No other symptoms driving straight.
My feeling is it’s something with the wheels being offset, it changes the mechanics of the suspension to cause this.
Please advise if anyone knows how this works and how to do this right please. I really like the wider stance look.
Thanks
