Hello, so about once every week my skip track button on the back of the steering wheel just stops working.

My volume button works fine while this is happening… the only way I’ve figured out how to fix it is to disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes and reconnect. Then it works fine. The bothersome thing is it’s just random when it doesn’t work and about every week or other week. Any thoughts out there?

I have the same issue. Took to dealer multiple times and GM claims it is my phone. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max. Mine usually occurs when you speak on the phone for 15 minutes or so through CarPlay and then the track button stops working.

I have the same phone… maybe that could be the culprit

There are software updates that help with these issues. A new one was just released in the last 60 days. May want.to have the dealer do this update. However many of the previous updates did not resolve all reported issues with the infotainment system.

I have the most recent update, which actually caused the buttons to be inoperable, never had the problem before the last update, although I had other issues like sound cutting out (which I still have).
