Tailgate alert on Bison edition?

My previous ZR2 with the standard tailgate gave me an alert if the tailgate was down.
My current Bison edition with multiflex tailgate does not give me an alert for main tailgate but it does for inner tailgate.
Dealer looked into it and even checked another Bison and it did not give the tailgate alert.
Is that true for all you Bison owners?

Just checked my non Bison ZR2 with the MultiFlex tailgate, same thing, inner tailgate warning only, whether it is open by itself or in the all the way down step position, but when it is just opened like a regular tailgate, no warning.

Some days I'm in and out of my truck and I hate stopping to see if I put tailgate up.
I have CRS. Can't Remember Sh*t
But it does give me the seat vibration alert since the camera is pointed down and thinks something is in the way

I hear ya there, I have all the C*S diseases, Can’t Remember, Can’t Hear, Can’t See, Can’t Smell, etc.

I had checked mine a week or so and it also only works for upper tailgate.
