Noticeable Leveling kit OR 4” LIFT

So I’m curious to know is there a noticeable difference when doing a leveling kit? I would be going with a peak or dirt king.

Or Should I skip the games and go with a 4” BDS lift kit

I’d hate to get the leveling kit and not have a noticeable difference.

I would just go straight to the 4" lift so I can talk @enigmaticzr2 into shipping me his lift kit.

I do wish someone that needed it was closer, almost to the point when I see a ZR2 on the road I want to flag them down and talk them into the peak kit. Excellent lift but would just go to the 4 inch lift, I didn't and now sitting on this kit with less than a month of use.

A leveling kit is noticeable and makes the truck look better, but it definitely won’t be mistaken for lifted. If that’s the look that you want you’ll need a full lift kit to get it. Not even the mid-travel kits give that look.

I've installed a drop down lift similar to the BDS kit (Cognito)
With this type of lift the steering knuckle is replaced with a longer steering knuckle between the upper and lower control arm. This does not give you any more travel.
If I was going to go more than leveling on a ZR2 I would go with dirt Kings mid-travel kit.

Decreased mileage and if you want to load a Harley or dirt bikes in the back it’s way higher. I am going with the peak 2.25 just to clear 35” tires

Did you ever go with the 4” BDS. I’m really interested in doing it to my ZR2. I’m planning on using the BDS kit that reuses the multimatic shocks.
