Newest Software Update...

N242435631-04 completed and the only thing I see different is that when on Apple car play, the DIC shows the contact and time on the call now. It used to just be a blank screen when on the phone.

No other weird things happening yet like the others have posted.

Just had my update installed yesterday, along with the brake fluid indicator recall. 24 hrs in, the only difference I've noticed is fewer audio cutouts after startup. My truck's audio used to cut out twice for 1-2 seconds about 2-3 minutes after every startup; but since the update, I've seen only 1-2 cutouts total in about 12 startups. So I guess that's an improvement? Everything else has been working flawlessly.

I appreciate all of you who have taken the time to post your feedback. But in true GM fashion they haven’t fixed shit. Now if you take the time to send letters and pay for the dealership to apply the update, a normal person running the business would make damn sure it was a solid fix. Makes me think hardware is part of the problem but they are hoping to satisfy us with less audio drops.

The only damage is that it hurts my ego when the audio drops because it makes me think there is an incoming call then when the music returns I’m reminded that I’m not important after all.

LOL.......mine cut out in the middle of the Uncle Ted guitar solo on Stranglehold. I gawd damn near pulled over to smash that bastard with the glass breaker on my Microtech.

GM is now using this tactic for transmission hard parts. We'll do a software patch to mask the hardware problem.....LOL

I'm about to find out cause I got "safety" recalls on all mine, so I'm gonna start bringing them in next week.

Just got a software recall notice, but mine honestly has no issues (well, DIC blanked out once, but never again). I have about 7500 miles now (bought in May). I don’t plan to let them do it.

I scheduled my HD for service next Tuesday. In addition to the 20 other issues and recalls, he informed me there was a new one this week.......LOL

"The 24 has a new update that just came out. Something about intermittently when using the remote start, it can turn on the check engine light. There's an update for it."

Fucking GM is swirling in the bowl, I'm hoping I don't get flushed with that turd!
