Ive got 9 cars and trucks . In the future I’d like to learn the flying thing lol

I've had some RC cars, boats, planes over the years since the late 80s. They are so cool! Two weeks ago, I was just thinking I need to get a nitro truck, so I can hear that motor wind up.......LOL.

All electric here, no nitros. These brushless motors with lipo batteries are just so powerful that I have no urge to go nitro.

Planes aren't very hard to fly, but when you get into 6 channel collective pitch helicopters, they can take a lot of practice to be able to fly them. Helicopters are a bit difficult to fly.

I agree with KLA brushless and lipos have changed the game! Back in the late 80s and early 90s I had nitro boats and 1/8scale off road buggies. Nitro is still available but lipo is where it’s at. I’ve got a speed run car that will run in the 180mph range. And most all of mine are easily in the75mph range !! That’s fast for 1/5th scale lol!!!

A 180mph speed run is pretty fast. Very impressive. The last I heard, the speed record for a R/C car was around 238mph. Not sure what the exact speed record is, but it is somewhere in that high 230's to low 240's mark. I don't have speed run cars. I have a 1/7 6s Arrma Big Rock, 1/8 6s Armma Typhon and a 1/10 Traxxas Rustler. All brushless motors.

Nice to hear you're an Arrma guy like me and not a Traxxas fan boy. You have a very nice collection of R/C's. I used to have a 6s Kraton. Traded it for the Big Rock. Like the trucks but I mostly fly my helicopters more than anything.

Traxxas is over priced plastic garbage lmao ….. well now tha ill be spending money upgrading this new to me ZR2 the r/c cars will be set down for awhile….. one day I will get into flying planes and choppers
