Hello everyone. New user and new owner of 2024 ZR2 with the baby max 3.0. I have two issues. First, when playing music the audio volume rises and lowers by itself. Second , when I bought the truck it had 10,000 miles. The second day I drove it the check engine light came on and a message to service the DEF system popped up. The check engine light has been sporadic and I have an appointment to have it checked out. Has anyone else had these issues. Thanks for your responses.

DEF issues can be a lot of things, fluid quality, fluid volume, float level sticking, sensors, temp, injectors, software, etc. They are better at diagnostics now than 10 years ago, but it can always be finicky technology. Probably be an easy fix.

In the stereo settings, you can adjust the auto volume setting or turn it off. Otherwise, you should ask them to do the most recent infotainment system updates so you get improved performance. Lots of random issues with infotainment systems, primarily pre-24.
