New to ZR2

I guess I need to make one of these. Currently awaiting delivery of a 26 ZR2 2500HD diesel in cypress grey. Coming from a tundra. Mainly made the switch to have a little more capabilities pulling a trailer with a couple big ATV’s on it through some questionable “roads” for hunting. That and these ZR2’s look awesome haha

Thanks, so far I’ve ordered fuel additives, some aftermarket mudflaps and then plan to get ceramic coating and PPF on it.
Went with the off-road running boards and a tonneau cover. Had to order it specifically without a sunroof for some extra headroom haha. Super excited for it

I'm waithing on my HD ZR2 to be delivered as well damn factory upgrade. Mine is a sterling gray with all the bells and whistles. I will have to see what I do about the front end. I'm coming out of a lemon dodge durengo

Nice! How much of a drop down hitch are you using? My hitch on my old/current truck has no drop.

I think it's a 6 inch, but it's probably 4 to top of ball. My trailer looks a bit taller and it sits pretty level.

Did you get the multiFlex tailgate? If so you might want to check out the B&W adjustable hitch with the bevel to allow for dropping the inner tailgate with the hitch installed.

Also you can lock the inner tailgate by holding the button down a few seconds. The taillight will flash when it locks or unlocks. That way you won't accidentally drop it on the hitch like many have.

I went with the Opti-lube xpd all in one and then their winter version. Watched some YouTube videos on all the additives and ordered them. A bit pricy to get up here in Canada but what isn’t haha.

The Opti-Lube is good stuff. I've been using it for 10 years or so when the XPD version first came out and performed best in the independent additives test. I've used the XL version the last several years since I mostly wanted the lubrication. Seems to keep the injectors clean and balance rates right in spec.

Nice! Yeah that’s kind what I was reading or watching. Figured I get some anti-gel in the all in one just in case some cold weather sneaks up on me up here.

Yep, I'd use that up north in winter. I'm in the south, so only occasionally get into cold weather when hunting in high elevations, but its still only a little below freezing at times.

Got a non-update update. Still no build date, salesman said they’d let me know when they get a date. Feels like it’s been 6 months but it’s only been 2 haha.
