More Hp L8T

Yes the conversation is the same...lol
6.6 has an available Pro Charger but the numbers are quite similar.
The 6.6 is a better motor to upgrade do to block strength. The 6.2 motor will flex under a load.. do to aluminum foundation.
Again all the aspects are similar 😁

Please put this thing on the dyno and report. I was really interested in this mod but have heard several people that the 25 L8T has not be cracked yet. And would be very interested to see your numbers.

I dont think the 24 is cracked. I think they finally got the 23 cracked last year.

You probably should go take a peek at some of the Gen 6 Camaro forums and see what they are getting from the 6.2 and how they aera getting it. The 6.2 doesn't flex if it's the same block. My stock ZL-1 makes 650/650 FWHP right from the factory. There are plenty of folks running that kind of HP with the stock rods and a supercharger. It's all in the tune....

Lots of misinfo regarding the l8t… and gen v di motors in general… its laughable to say that diesels are a better platform when i put 4k in a reliable turbo setup/fuel system on a stock 5.3 (aluminum block lol) making 700 wheel that ran low 11s in the 1/4 mile and it lasted 45k miles and over 200 1/4 mile pulls before it finally died on the limiter during a rolling burnout… now i have an l8t swap with cam, lt2 intake, lt5 tb, lontubes and STOCK heads and made 550 whp and 530 wtq on e85… thats 150 more hp to the wheels than the stock crank hp rating and if you do the math its about 250-300 hp gain to the crank.. from just a cam and bolt ons. I always find it hilarious when the weekend warriors throw around suggestions and claims as if theyve actually dove deep into modding something… think im full of it? ill just leave this here… https://www.lsxmag.com/tech-stories/l8t-to-the-party-cam-and-intake-dyno-shootout/

ps.. those aluminum blocks can handle some power for a long time..

Ironically the l8t wont hold boost like the 5.3/6.2 in stock form due to having much smaller rods/wrist pins i wouldnt push a stock 6.6 much past 650 crank as youll see in the lsx article..

Sounds like it could take more power if it lasted that long 😂

LMFAO......I could beat him in my '56 IH grain truck with an inline 6 and a five speed loaded with 250 bushels of wheat. It's still running just fine. I'd be with the trophy girl and he'd be sweeping up parts behind the tree!

Yea there are tons of guys making 4 digits on the alumimum block… the block isnt the weak point nor is the crank its the ring lands on the pistons and the rods… the cutout for the exuast valve leaves less than a 1/4” of material on the ringland itself… I welcome any of you to come try it from a dig in the 1/4 mile 🥱 ill bring my broom lol
if the na l8t cant get you we got a ‘23 5.3 with a 2650 on it making 700 wheel also been together almost 2 years now 😉
