Just before the last two oil changes my low oil light came on forcing me to add a quart. The last time was maybe 2 days before my scheduled oil change so I wasn't all that worried. This time I have 20% to go for my next change. I added a quart. Couple days later I park in my driveway with my front end forward on about a 15 degree slope. Fire it up to take my wife to work and check engine light was on all the way there and back. Did it again when I parked similar. This morning I Check the dipstick and oil is low so I added another quart to get it to halfway on the mark after I ran an errand, vehicle was on the flat level surface overnight and through the trip. It's going in on the 12th already for the hood issue where the scoop is rubbing and etching the corners of the finish. 2022 6.2 L Almost 33,000 miles on it. While they have it they are going to service it, perform 3 recalls (Trailer brake, daytime lights etc). Also with a problem I have with the left front headlight, when it rains a few hours later I flip the turn signal on and it flashes quick and message Check Headlight message pops up. Dealership has not been able to recreate that issue. I was going to yank the headlight and look it over for cracks or broken seals in the headlamp assy before its out of warranty.
Almost a 6 months back I remember talking to another owner of the similar truck that was frustrated with the dealer could not figure out why his was burning oil. Just a few days ago I talked with a guy that had a 2024 with a couple hundred miles that had the oil pump go down on it. I was wanting to see if anyone has heard of similar for both the oil and headlight issue and what the resolutions were. I'm so close to the 36K warranty that I want to figure it out before it goes out of warranty.
