I miss my Dad's old '73 Cheyenne. Too bad I wrecked it in the early 90s. Was yellow and white (like the image below) with long tube headers, cherry bomb mufflers and no tail pipes. He also had a set of the old turbine mag wheels on it. You couldnt hardly have a conversation with the person next to you while cruising on a Friday night as a teen.

This new CF Moto dual sport motorcycle was released recently and made in ChiNa. It gets solid reviews from everyone. The parallel twin 450 cc motor sounds great, damn near Ducati great. It has all the latest electronic features and costs 30% less at <$7k.

My nephew traded a Polatis sxs that he had constant problems with for two CF Moto quads. He says they are better than anything he's owned. Runs them on his ranch for cattle work.

I might get one and start supporting ChiNa, cause I like to associate with winners! Gonna wait and see what the new KTM 390 Adventure looks like first. They are made in India. ChiNa and India are gonna Make America Great Again!

I'm sure someone a lot smarter than me has noticed or said this. China is going the way the Japanese did in the 50's through the early 2000's. Japan made CHEAP consumer junk and sold the piss out of it while learning engineering, manufacturing, sales and distribution. They then became the class of the world in electronics and automobiles from what they learned. I don't know if we should be scared or thankful that someone else has come along and hopefully spurred companies into getting their shit together due to the competition.

Just look at their high speed rail lines, they have 100s of miles of that shit. Meanwhile we've spent billions on it without building a mile of track. We are getting gamed every day by them. They own a pile of our debt, so we pay them interest on every phony dollar we borrow.

I am working on a sale for a project later this fall. Company is American based, but the $ are from Chinese investors. That's not very common in the oil and gas business, but they buy a lot of materials and parts from ChiNa now to run that entire industry.

You're absolutely right about the long game! We are such a young country that we think 10 years is a long time. Europe & Asia think in terms of millennia!
