Here's a couple of quick shots from the parking lot last night. The extra lighting makes a huge difference, especially on the trail! The only thing I have left to do is the bed LED strips and the 8 piece rock light kit. I had pneumonia over the holidays and haven't been able to do much. This week is my first week back to work so I'll try and get them on before the end of the month and post some more pictures then.

Looks good! Lots of work into your setup!

Read the thread and you'll see why I commented
yeah, i did. i specifically noticed the post below, which, in general, is what the thread was initially about, thus the thread title, "Light mods":

Looks good! Can you tell me who makes the bed rack? Also, is the front light bar high enough to provide good coverage? How bad is the glare?
So the overland rack I purchased from Amazon and is surprisingly quality made. It's a bolt and washer and nut assembly and there was quite a few of them. I'm a perfectionist and I put red thread locker on every single bolt in the assembly. I would imagine if you didn't depending on where you traveled, they would sooner or later vibrate loose. I never wanted to take that chance so that's why I took the time to put thread locker on every single one.

To address your second question,
I had a local metal shop fabricate a mount for the light bar to sit on. It raises it up about 6 -8 inches which gives it just enough to get over the top of the truck. There is a little glare especially if I have the sunroof open, but most of the light goes down range and does a good job. The front light bar along with the ditch lights in the front on the hood really make a huge difference above the stock lighting. I chose the wide angle ditch lights from Rough Country. They are very adjustable depending on how you like them positioned. I have about 60% of the light going down range and the other 40% off to the sides on an angle. The rear light bar on the rack is more for a chase light and a work light. I have it angled down about 10° and then the sides are just extra wide-angle side shooters. I put them on mainly for camping and working around the truck at night If ever need be. They are adjustable and can rotate directions and angles. Again they just further help to light up the trail or anything else at night. I have a 48-in. light that I want to mount behind the grill, But as I said I've been sick with pneumonia so I've not been able to get outside much.

Here is the link to the rack and a few pictures of how I mounted the front light on the rack. I really like the rack because it doesn't interfere with the rear view camera. All you can see is the corners of the posts. It's rated for 750 lb of weight and has held everything I've put on top of it with ease. You could put a platform with the tent on top if you wanted but we have a two-room T-4 Hub gazelle ground tent.
I've never overloaded it so I don't have to worry about structural failure. Maybe 300 lb is the most I've ever had on it. Basically just camping gear and pop-up shelters and a few other odd and end items that were just easy to strap to the top. I also have the hi lift jack mounted on the top. It's about $200 cheaper than it was when I bought mine a year and a half ago. I paid over $700. It's a great wreck I highly recommend it! It's the only one I found that is sturdy enough to carry all I want and still clears the cameras.

Looks good! Lots of work into your setup!
Thanks brother! Yes lots of work. As you know I have the attitude of do things right or don't do them. I took my time with the wiring and used heat shrink, crimp connectors with another layer of heat shrink tubing over the connector and then 1-in wire loom. I also put heat shrink crimp tips on all of the wiring going into the switch box. You can do it without them but You run the risk of cutting individual wires on stranded wire, which can cause issues. I just eliminated that altogether and put the tips on. That way I can tighten down the connection screws without having to worry about tearing the tips of the wire apart. I also took the time and tucked everything up on top of the frame and not on the sides. I'm looking forward to getting the rock lights on but I have to take each wheel off and take the wheel liners out of each wheel well to mount the light that's in the wheel well and then tuck the wiring in between the screws of the liner to keep them out of the way. I also plan to put wire loom on all of the wiring for those even though they are probably thick enough to do without. I'd rather just put it on while I'm doing it instead of having to worry about a loose connection or a short years down the road. I appreciate the compliment... Thank you!👍

You should check out the light mods from Boost Auto that @The_Q outlined in THIS post, also. I installed all of them and they're great.
Yep got a few from them. The "All lights" mod that turns on the mirror lights when hi beam is on and the "always on fog light" mod. To my pleasurable surprise the auto high beam still works with those mods. 👍

I didn't think it would affect the auto high beam but figured if it did, for $25, I'd pull it back off and file it in the trash. Like you, I was happy it didn't.
