Keyless Entry Keypad

View attachment 14656

I really want this on my truck (would love to leave my keys in the truck while I am gone scuba diving or on the beach and use the door code to get in truck).

Does it REALLY require dealership programming?

Will the truck lock with the fob inside it?
I added one to my 17 Silverado High Country and just traded that one on a 25. The pad performed flawlessly for 8 years. Added one to the 25yesterday. Great for when I have dogs with me and need to run into a store where pets aren’t allowed. You can leave the truck running with HVAC on and take key with you, or leave in the truck. After using the first one so much, would pay much more for the convenience. Note that you can put the pad anywhere you like, so does not have to be on the pillar.

You can definitely lock your keys in the truck. Ask me how I know.... let's just say it was not intentional and thankfully I was only a block from home and could walk back and get the other fob!
If you use the lock button next to window switches inside it will lock as it thinks you are in the truck. Imagine you are in the truck and dont want to get robbed so you lock doors type of situation.

Or...You can get you a grumpy dog like I've had, that bites the crap out of anybody that tries to enter said vehicle.

This is an awesome option. Loved it on my F-150 and added it on my Tacoma. Glad it’s an option on my new Chevy (I have commitment issues)
