Hey awesome people,

I installed the Borla ATAK catback system and the left tail pipe is a pain. It doesn’t align with the right one and its not tucked into the rear bumper. Had to do some tweaking and now it’s scratching with spare tire heat shield. Just checking if anyone experienced that. Other than that please enjoy the videos. As some videos are large i put the youtube links below:

I did have the same issue with my ZR2 left tailpipe. My truck has the factory Borla and it sounds great just like your truck. After the dealer replaced the engine (due to spun bearing), I noticed the left tailpipe was not tucked up behind the bumper. The dealer process was way too cumbersome (no appointments then multiple trips for assessment/repair) so I took it to a Muffler Shop. $100 and 45 minutes later and now the left pipe is matching the right side. It is not contacting the heat shield either.

Good luck with getting this resolved. I was almost ready to have the right pipe dropped to match when I saw a 2025 1500 Bison ZR2. They do not tuck up on the new ZR2's but instead show just a little bit below the bumper.

Thank you

They will fit right, just takes quite a bit of adjusting. Took me about and hour of crawling around under the truck and moving all the joints but ended up getting it damn near perfect. Then added chrome tips from amazon.
