I don't remember this issue before I took the truck to the dealer and they updated the system to fix the audio cutout problem, but now every time I turn the truck off the HUD resets its position. I raise it up higher when i drive, but when I turn off and restart the truck it drops to the bottom of the windshield and I have to raise it back up. Is that the same for you?

After much testing (days worth of turning on and off the truck, adjusting driver profiles while changing HUD positions, and taking copious notes), I can confirm this was 100% user error. I sent the data to GM, where they told me in no uncertain terms to leave them alone. I'll take the L, as it never occurred to me to save the position after the software update. Thanks for the help team!

The hud position is tied in with the seat position, mirror position and steering wheel position to one of the two driver settings on the door panel. Set it up, program. Linked to whatever key you used.

When started the vehicle will say driver one or two based on the key selected. If you grab the wrong key you’ll override this via the appropriate door panel button.
