Guess Which State Is Exploring Replacing Gas Taxes With Surveillance?

i have a meticulously clean accident/claim free 35+ year history with USAA and my rates have gone up every 6 months, never once down. 3 months ago, i called and told them to get out of the insurance business. its clear you dont know how to underwrite. i told them you increase my rate because you know i will pay it. rewarding good driving habits are a flaw instead of a reward. i know how insurace works. companies gotta take the good with the bad but imo, shouldnt be off my back! i got a letter back from ceo wayne DB peacock. he said he felt my pain. period. what does that mean? fu USAA. suck on my johnson
Yep, they all work from the same playbook. It's cheaper to switch companies every two years than be loyal.

You're the first person I've ever heard complain about them. I did battle with their corporate pricks over placement of a 500/230kV powerline I was planning near some vacant land they owned. It was too be an Arizona campus for them. They raised hell with the power company and City of Phoenix. They were successful in their efforts to move the route right up next to some newly constructed homes...... exactly where I said it shouldn't be. They got 150 feet structures hanging over their homes. Then a few years later they put some shitty chain restaurants, a Best Buy, movie theater and other useless shit right where I wanted the powerline to be.

You wanna know where your premiums go, you should see some of the new buildings they have built in Scottsdale and Phoenix. They are gold plated multi story buildings. They don't look half full.

I have spent about 2 hours on the phone with them going through both the home and auto policies. My home is paid for but it still feels like I have a mortgage each month when I write them my insurance check. Been with them for 33 years.

Agree to switch every few years. I would also suggest to go through insurance agents with multiple companies under their belt, rather than a direct approach.

I did the same and saw a big difference.

It’s worse in other areas? That is just crazy. How much more can consumers take financially. A good driving record use to count for something but not anymore. I still remember driver’s ed in high school. I would like to open a driving school to teach drivers how to drive, not new ones but seasoned ones. I have never seen so much red light running as I see now, very dangerous. More accidents, more expensive cars, and more expensive to repair them as AXE was saying.

agree and should be recertified every 5 years. it would certainly keep the knudnicks in check.

Arizona ain't much better. One way to get a better rate is call and ask to speak to a customer retention specialist. Tell them you want a better rate. They may have to write you another policy and cancel the old one. That's what happened to me last summer. Seems dumb as hell, but it works.

Rates are high cause your paying for everyone that doesn't carry insurance or is under insured. With wide ass open borders, they won't get cheaper with illegals loading up their rigs and hitting the roads.......and your truck.
Yep....got 1st hand experience with that. The young Cuban girl that hit me last year can't be found. Bad address, no insurance...ect ect

There will soon be an EV surcharge on every electricy bill you receive. They will also raise all vehicular license taxes. Your gonna pay for your neighbors EV one way or another. They proved this model works when they jacked up the price of ICE vehicles by 20% and we willingly paid them. Then we waved our dicks around about how great they are on this forum. Everything green is subsidized, they will get your cash by hook or by crook!

Complete BS
This is after coming off a side street, (that I chased her down after she hit me) at over 40 mph. Didn't even try to slow down. Hit 2 other cars and went across the center of the road and up over the other side and was still spinning her tires trying to get away by driving in-between 2 buildings. The only reason she stopped was because she got stuck on a boulder and couldn't go anymore.
