How is this even possible? They can’t get all the parts they need? You would think that GM had this planned out better

As someone who used to work for a tier 1 supplier, you sometimes can't plan around suppliers of the suppliers. Everyone has a supply chain and sometimes reliable sources get messed up.

Correct. Besides supply issues I saw there was a 6.2L recall, and although only 64 vehicles affected by that, there may always be other factors involved.
