See pic...Been getting message on screen on start-up that says, "Sensor needs cleaning" or some such thing. When backing up to the garage door last night, I got this pic on dash. Indicates a sensor not reading. The "clean sensor" message has been happening since I drove it home from the dealer.
Seems like a big to-do with Chevy to replace this. The warranty administrator wanted to inspect the part to ensure no rock chips....The part was verified a failure and now has to be painted by the body shop to some wacky specified thickness of the paint, or new sensor no worky, then they can replace it in the bumper. Ball is in their court...I drove the truck home and have to wait on them, but repair has been approved.

Truth be known, I took a magnifying glass to it and it looks like it was hit by something. Again, it was like that when I picked it up, so maybe just a defective part or a tiedown chain got out of hand...dunno.
