Could anyone provide any insights or recommendations on this product or a similar one? I suspect that installing this filtration system may also void the factory warranty. I observed a Powerstroke engine via social media with 900,000 miles on it that exhibited virtually zero wear on its major components, except for a lifter failure.

Oil bypass filters have been around for many years. Most people that run them are doing commercial work like that guy in the video. They put on 3k miles in a week, so they need to run longer oil change intervals.

If you want one, just install it and don't worry about warranty. Otherwise just change your oil at 5k intervals.

Thanks for the information!

I do about 6000-7000 miles a year and plan to change my oil every 3-5K miles. Thinking about adding this oil filtration system to my truck.....
I’ll give you similar advice you give CAI inquiries…completely useless in your situation. Your dime and if it’s simply a want, feel free. But you don’t pull anything, you’re changing at 3-5K intervals, and as a result will see absolutely zero value from it. Way too many examples of ultra high mileage diesel being worked and using stock oil filtration to say it’s even critical when truly working these trucks with a solid maintenance regimen. Again, whatever floats your boat…

I was joking!
