I found this skid plate. I need it more for catalytic converter theft protection than rock crawling. What do you guys think??

Looks nice. Did it fit without any adjustments?

UPDATE- Love the skid plate until it came time to change the oil. I can barely get one hand in the opening. I use the "oil udder" Talon recommends but you still can't get to the filter with the udder on. Not sure if I'm gonna widen the access hole or just pull the plate when changing the oil......

Interesting that this is a HD forum and this part is for a 1500. Would like to explore one for my 2500. Got excited for nothing lol. ;)

They have one, saw it and the Asfir. https://talonsgarage.com/products/chevy-gmc-2500-full-skid-package

Both are aluminum, on our heavy Jeep it’s even a stretch without UHMW liners.
Thanks. It is not for me. It is better than nothing. Would be willing to spend more for 7075 to a T5 condition than 5052. The 5052 does not require heat treat and is much cheaper to manufacturer but not nearly as strong to resist deformation and corrosion resistant.

Got excited for a moment but am a little concerned about heat retention when idling and a regen cycle.
