To me, threatening to cut their bonuses would imply they have the tools to improve quality.

Why have we not been on a value based incentive program to begin with? The more value we bring to the customer the more we can be monetarily incentivized.

I don't know, but I've spent the better part of my 3 year professional career consulting for energy companies developing projects from Alaska to Texas. The projects are big and too far in between to fuck one up. You'd lose your ass if you laid a turd on any of the projects I've done. If you want to have endless work and dedicated clients, all you have to do is bust ass and put a good project in the ground. It took commitment, but wasn't particularly difficult if you understand the game.......do good work, have fun, make money......it ain't fucking hard, except if your beholden to Wall Street. I worked for companies that were employee owned and it paid well to do work you're proud of when it's commissioned.
