New here, looking to read up and hear what upgrades everyone is finding. Nothing crazy for me yet, step rails, soft tonneau cover, and some Merica emblems. Had a 2019 trail boss and just got rid of a 2021 high country 3.0 that I put 130k on. Bullet proof little diesels.

Hobbies are bourbon, guns, and anything off-road (with motors and on foot).

Update: pics attached.. She isn’t a tow rig……. Old and new… and shined up.

Rolled 10k already in 3.5 months this morning.

The 3.0 is a good engine, no engine is bulletproof, but it is a good one. I have had a 21 RST with the LM2 and a 24 ZR2 with the LZ0, I personally haven't had any issue with the 2 motors I had and agree it is a strong contender.

Good hobbies.

Welcome!

Oh, and btw, pictures or it never happened ;)

welcome! ignore the non white truck havers. They just get in their feelings that they chose the wrong color.

Even though my new Bison is also white, I agree that there are too many white ZR2. If I could have found the same killer deal on a blue or red one, one of those would have been my first choice. Just very few dealers in my area of NC stock cool colors. They mainly order white, black or grey. It is maddening...

i be another white ZR2 owner. my last one ('24 that blew up) was the sterling gray metallic and i really liked that color. same color as the wife's yukon, it's a beaut. anyhoo, the dealer gave me too good of a deal on this white one to pass up, so now i miss the color of my gray truck.

black is the purtiest of the purty, imnsho, but i live about half a mile back a gravel road and it's a beotch to keep clean. my son has a '22 2500 dirtymax in black, and his truck is dirty all the time . . . doesn't help that he's an equipment operator and the jobs he goes on isn't paved. ha.

My stepson has been a truck salesman for various Chevrolet dealerships for 40 years, if he has told me once he has told me 1000 times... I can ALWAYS sell a white truck, every business wants them, they are cooler in the summertime, easier to see on the road and especially at night, and they don't show dirt as easily as every other color.
