Hi all,
Am I reading the specs correctly? In the data I’ve found the Bison curb weight is 1100 lbs great than the standard ZR2. I can see it being heavier because of the bumpers and the boron skid plates. But that seems excessive……

Any thoughts/info?
Thx
B

Seems a little high, but probably pretty close! They are thick and heavy through and through. I've weighed my 2500 Bison and it's heavier by a good amount. That does include some tools and gear.

Don't forget the heavy, factory rock-sliders. I replaced mine with steps. The step are 20 pounds lighter than those rock sliders...

I think I would have noticed 1100# in performance and mpg but I don't see it comparing my previous ZR2 without the Bison.
Looking at a couple of their parts their rear bumper is 120#. Subtract the weight of the stock bumper.
Still looking for weight of front bumper
The gas tank skid plate is only 22#
Transfer skid plate is 39#
Trans is 35#
Radiator is 38#
I also had the rock sliders removed and installed steps.

Interesting, when I do a search for specs I get around 4800 for the ZR2 and 5900 for the Bison.
