Console safe anyone?

Has anyone installed the console safe from GM yet?

I'd love to hear opinions on it, especially on the security, that would be great.

So I have not installed one on my Chevy have one I ordered directly from Console Vault. Installation was super easy on my Tacoma works great. I plan on ordering one again from them once my ZR2 comes in.

I’ve always used Console Vault as well, but I didn’t see one on their site for the 2022 refreshed trucks

I installed the Chevy safe. I purchased from shopchevyparts.com. Real easy install and the tray is still usable.

Would you say it’s strong enough to store a firearm temporarily? That’s why I’ve always used Console Vault.

Yes. That’s exactly what I bought it for. I carry a firearm with me everywhere. But for that rare occasion I can’t carry my firearm, I feel safe using the console safe.
