Cold Air Intakes

Anyone went with a AFE Track Series cold air intake on a Silverado Zr2 yet? I know not everyone thinks cold air intakes are cool or worth it, but I like them, just curious about this track series Pro Dry S from AFE. Thanks

None of them do anything to enhance the truck and really a big waste of money so just buy the one you think is the prettiest

The whole purpose of an oiled filter element was to allow cotton fiber soaked in oil to catch dust and debris. Because the fibers were more "open" than a paper element, it flowed more air. Great for racing applications, especially in mud....I've used many over the years.
When it was finally discovered that the oil mist coming off these elements was causing fouling of the MAF sensors, there went that great idea.....So to keep selling their greatly over-rated and ill-functioning crap, they have now resorted to using paper filter elements that have been dyed red.
