Check Front Turn Lamp

Chevy sent me the fix for my left turn signal not working

Update...Took truck to the dealer and the service tech said no registered codes, dealer will reprogram the module and go from there... sounds like from the posts above there is really no rhyme or reason why it does it, thanks for the posts on this.

For me, since the two new headlamps and the lighting control module, I've only had the right turn signal acting up. Did it again yesterday. Maybe if they keep dropping off the bumper and replacing the lights eventually I'll find some that work.

Brought the truck in for the left turn signal.
It was working fine when I dropped it off.
Chevy had to approve the light assembly to be replaced and part is ordered
I will let you know if the new light fixes the problem

Wowzers!
They said lucky for me it's under warranty. About $2000
I saw their invoice, $1600 for assembly and $400 labor
Have to say I was impressed with service
Yesterday they got approval, this morning they got light, this afternoon truck is fixed
Hope it works lol

I know this is an older string but anyone find a fix for this turn lamp issue? My 24 has done it since new. Once it starts there is no cure other than stopping and shutting the truck off for a while. Haven't driven in rain, only washed it once since I bought it in April of 24. Dealer did some big computer update a few months back under a recall and said that would probably fix it. It didn't. They say videos and photos of the issue aren't good enough and they have to duplicate. I'm not going to leave my truck for them to drive around for who knows how long trying to duplicate the issue. My main concern with this is when it starts up I don't have any left turn signals. Especially bad when I'm pulling trailers.

Only fix for mine was replacing the entire assembly.
The one time it happened I drove straight to the dealer. Then it started working.
They said they didn't need to see it and just had to wait for GM's approval to replace it.
It was the dealer I bought the truck from so not sure if that helped me

Thanks. I'll give it another try and hope for a better result. I think I'm going to hit them with the safety aspect of it (not having a left turn signal) and see if that helps.

Mine still does it. Drove it straight to the dealer twice. They did "electronic updates" but still does it once every few months. It's only in the front. The back still flashes but fast.

Mine did this ever so often also. I took a video because I intended to take it to the dealership. However, it's getting replaced due to getting hit so here is to hoping it never does it again. LOL

Took mine into dealer this morning. He told me the next time the left front turn signal goes out, if I'm anywhere near a dealer, to leave it on and bring it in so they can take a picture. He said if they can't see it or duplicate the issue GM won't let them do anything. Said if I bring it in and they can see it they'll order a new front turn signal assembly after GM approves it. All my photos and videos of the problem (with date/location stamps) aren't enough for GM to fix it.

Things like that are bullshit. That’s just their way of not paying to fix their shitty parts.

Agreed. Not the safest pulling a trailer and not having a left turn signal. Problem is worse when I'm pulling a trailer so I'll just drag the trailer into the dealer next time it does it if I'm close.

Mine has done this since new. They replaced the lighting control module, and a few months later replaced both of the turn signals. It still does it. I even brought it into the dealership when it was happening. They kept it running for a few hours, and had GM looking at the vehicle when it was happening. They weren't able to get to the bottom of it.

I've read elsewhere that these lights are super sensitive to voltage, which has me wondering if it's something that I did...here's two things that I'll throw out there:
1.) I have a blackvue dash camera. It is hardwired to constant 12v power via a "Magic Box" for monitoring while the truck is parked (for "Parking Mode" on the camera). The Magic Box keeps the camera running until the battery voltage is starting to drop, at which point it shuts down the camera. This basically means that maybe my battery voltage could potentially be lower than what GM considers "normal". Maybe there's something in the programming that detects the low voltage and shuts down the turn signal?
2.) I have replaced the only incandescent lights on the truck with Lasfit LED lights on the rear (for the backup lights in the tail lights, and on the license plate lights). I'm wondering if these could also be impacting battery voltage, and causing something odd.

Anyone else running any modifications that could be coming into play and triggering the issue?

Mine (as others does) returns to normal operation if I turn the truck off and let it sit for like 15 minutes before restarting it...
