Needed another truck to use for the property here in Texas about 70 miles from home and to drive around locally. Putting too many miles on the HD and need it for New Mexico. Got a 2024 Sterling Grey Metallic Bison pretty much hard loaded except no sunroof which I have no use for. Will post pics when I pick it up and after I get the new tires installed. Was very impressed with this little guy! Off road it will be a beast, and it drives and handles Great when I test drove it. Now to start looking at some mods including if they exist a tuner to flash it for more power. This one I am not going to worry about the powertrain warranty If I can get a significant amount of power from a new tune. ;) (y)

The only mod for sure is some lights to mount on the bumper.

Hp Tuner is the only one and it will void the warranty.
For around 6k the down side is your gains will be small like less than 30 hps and 20 ft lbs
Even with long tube headers... 🤔

Thanks---not much out there and it is looking more like I will leave that part alone. Wish the Colorado hade the "electronic" rear view mirror. That rear tire mounted in the bed blocks half of the regular rear view mirror. That is really my only gripe!

Pretty sure you are lying since there are no pics.
Killing me here! LOL here is the sticker and it is still on the Classic Grapevine web page I think. Going to remove the spare tire carrier and we are going to fab one at Mikes Off Road and lay it flat and then install a hard bed cover! Yes, that is the ticket. This is just a local truck and will not make that many trips to New Mexico but here in Texas yes. Will not need all of my equipment for the most part and can just put some things like an ac compressor, tow straps, some tools in a couple of sea bags and secure them under the hard cover.

Mmmhmm, I got in a fight with this old guy Friday, and I at least got a pic.

Does anyone have lights added to the bumper of a Bison on a Colorado?

Once I got the rack off and the tire mounted in the bed the visibility is very good on this truck! I am lucky that if I need to haul anything of size or weight, I have the 2500. The folding cover and tires are done. Just need the light kit to come in and install the Baja Designs lights and get the PPF applied in the front.

So far, this truck is really impressing me on the road.

Took it to the property in Texas today and a few more mods. The Westin power steps (they use 2 motors) to replace the useless rock sliders at least for me, talked to Dura Flap and taking measurements for the Colorado Bison to make up a set. Even GM does not have fronts for this truck yet. The way the mud came off the caliche roads at the ranch in New Mexico will blast this beautiful paint right off especially with the tires I am running. Taking measurements tomorrow to send to them. Then MAYBE the ditch lights even if they are ugly as hell but going to wait until the others are installed to see if I really need them.

Pic of my truck from one of the game cameras earlier today.

Did the Westin steps yesterday and they are perfect for me. Know some like the look and may even use the rock sliders for functionality but for me they are no value add. The light brackets that will go into the front grill plastic covers are backordered until January. The ditch light brackets will be here Tuesday and the BD Squadron Pro's will be here next week.
