The "Bison" stickers on the bed? Are we leaving those on or taking them off? I kind of want to take them off to clean things up a bit. My thought is between the bumpers, mirrors , and "AEV" badge on the back its enough to indicate its a Bison? What are everyone's thoughts??

I say keep 'em. I am keeping mine. We paid for it....foolish or not.....might as well rep it;)

Mine ain't going nowhere. Though I have considered moving the Silverado on the tailgate to the center, under the bowtie, and adding a blacked out ZR2 to the bottom left, opposing the AEV, so I clearly prefer clutter.

I bought mine used…. They had the Black 23 Bison and a regular Black 23 ZR2… the non Bison has 2k less miles but was $1000 more. I bought the Bison so I feel like I didn’t really pay for the Bison package…..

I took that giant bowtie off and that useless black wrap on the tailgate. Looks way better with less bullshit.

Oh man, I love the black wrap on the step gate. There's a user on here with a 2500 that added a topographical overlay with glossy black lines that looks amazing. Never saw that before, but I may do that myself.

I just noticed yours was black. I can see how that would change my opinion, since it makes the sticker seem a bit washed out. If there were a different version of the sticker that offered a little more contrast over black paint, I'd probably pursue that option.

I did see someone on an Etsy site selling them in different colors. Wondering if a solid matte black May look better…

I’m leaving the Bison stickers. That said, I’m unhappy with GM’s blurring of the lines between models. From a distance, the bison decal almost looks like the TB decal, and the ZR2 up front could be mistaken for the Z71 badge. Add to that the black hood insert now standard on all TBs, and it just takes away the slight special visuals of our steeds. When the ZR2 Silverado first came out, I liked that it looked more rugged in a subdued way, unlike the Raptor and TRX. But now our trucks blend into the rest of the Silverado crowd… (Reminds me of the Corvette C6 Grand Sport that was a visual Z06, without the monster-motor.)

My sister and brother-in-law have a boss and it looks almost identical, aside from the bumpers and a few grille differences, especially since they have the black wheel option as well. I don't mind the similarities as much, but I can understand where you're coming from. It would've been nice to seem some ZR2 emblems on the dash or doors (like the GMC AT4 and AT4X), as well as the AEV badges on the rear headrests.

Headrests have AEV or am I reading your post wrong?
Dealer ordered the all black ZR2 emblems for the front fender. That was first thing I wanted replaced with the Chrome and red ones

That is a score! Just the steel skid plates would be a couple grand aftermarket;) Let alone the bumpers!

"...on the rear headrests."

There's some on ebay i've been looking at that have black outlines, but still have the charcoal colored letters and the red 2. Figure i'll pull the trigger once i get the hood accent matted and the glossy black duramax badges.

Agreed- I had been looking for a while and had almost bought the GMC version a few weeks before but they sold it. Found this one about an hour away and they had it priced just like the handful of other used ZR2s they were selling.

Nice! I was in a similar situation. Was going back and forth with a local dealer on an AT4X for a few days. They kept using text to respond and would take hours or even days to get back to me sometimes, then some random came in and paid full price. The following afternoon, a dealer up north posted a price drop, I called, went back and forth for about an hour, then drove up after work the next day to get my Bison.
