I told the AEV guy it may not be their issue. The corner brace may have come from a different supplier. It's just a piece of 1.5 inch pipe with two ends flattened and ears bent at 45°. The pipe is gloss black and doesn't look like the same paint as the rest of the bumper. Could also be assembly as the regular HD bumpers look crooked too, just not as bad.

I thought about loosening all the fasteners and seeing if I could shift the whole damn bumper, but it looks good from the center to the drivers side. There's a shit load of fasteners too.

I just noticed my rear Bison bumper doesn't fit squarely on passengers side. You can see in these photos that the drivers side appears normal at about 7/8 inch gap between lower corner of bumper and quarter panel. While the passenger side was almost up against the quarter panel. The top portion of bumper is not as bad.

The mounts underneath are pretty solid with a direct mount into frame in the middle and the outer corners has a heavy brace from corner to frame.

I think the damn bumper is out of square. Not sure if there is much of a fix other than a new bumper replacement. I did put a tow strap and come along on it and pulled it rearward some. It's better but it's still not quite right.

Take a look at your Bison bumpers and let me know if you see any variability in fitment for them.

GM is still delivering 25 rigs with crooked bumpers. The bed bodies look straight to me.

This is another non AEV Bison 2500HD and was the worst of three in a bunch of six sitting in this spot. You can see the passenger side pushed forward toward body on the side and under the tailgate. Drivers side is always square.

Fer crissakes GM, address this shit before production.
