just installed a Titan 56 gal tank--trying to get used to the funky readouts from the stock tank sender--anybody have hints on how to keep track of that last 18 gal or so that is still in the tank when the chevy sensor says your on empty--[ i know about the empty tank message that comes on occasionally] any mods to get the correct readout--hh

Thanks for your reply--I considered doing that--Avg mileage times tank size--using the odometer as the gauge --marking on my dash the pertinent miles and changing it after any fill, full or partial--lots of 'moving parts'-------was also wondering if there are any aftermarket devices to utilize a supplemental gauge to indicate the actual gallons left--

On a second note i installed 'tinting' on my windshield--virtually clear with 30 percent heat rejection. first trip to phoenix {i'm in orange county Kalifornia ] i found that there was a considerable blocking of heat blasting down on me as compared the the stock glass--just the 99percent uv block is worth the cost--it was a good test as the temps in AZ that day were 118 west of Phoenix and 124 in Chandler--the ac in the new truck did the job--hh

I have the Banks gauge which provides fuel % from the OBD port. I am considering the same fuel tank although would probably have to remove the sway bar I added due to end link interference. Any thoughts on whether or not this would read correctly? Thinking it would stay on 100% until the extra 20G of fuel is consumed then register normally which would be fine for me. The fact that this is even an issue seems ridiculous.

Considering the same. I see no one has replied yet. I'm thinking the Banks gauge would read as you suggested. I like this gauge.
