So the 6.2L 0W40 oil and filler cap swap is well underway and we have seen our first beta testers take action. I thought now would be a good time to have a poll and see who's motor grenades first after the "upgrade". Get your votes in fast, nobody know when someone will get their participation trophy!

IF the bitch blows up, at least it's under warranty and I will get the NEW, Improved...same engine as before lol. Definitely no sarcasm there.
That's why I'm not really bothered by it all. Maybe we get lucky and get a good motor.

I won’t be bothered by it for 6 years and up to 99950 miles lol. I went ahead and changed mine just cause it was due. On top of that, if by some miracle it slowed the self destruction of the engine down or maybe I have a good one and it just helps more, I’m ok with that. I will say though this has been the oddest engine for all this crap I have owned.

My truck is due for an oil change too. Gonna do it this coming weekend. Will use the new and improved Mobil 1 Supercar 0w-40 and hope for the best. What do you all think about using an oil additive, such as Lucas? It helps prevent dry cold starts. Or do you think it will just cause more problems?
