Took the Colorado to the ranch in NM Monday and just got back. Now these comments are not about towing, load hauling or extended idling at 114 degrees. These comments are just about off road capability. Both trucks have the same tires BFG HD Terrain's and are just about the same size. Did haul 900lbs of feed which the little guy squatted just a little bit (see below pic from one of my cameras). To say I was impressed is a tremendous understatement. The Colorado is the most capable off-road truck I have ever owned.

Have had jeeps yes modified but they will beat you to death on the road and do not haul anything. This Colorado goes anywhere I went in the Jeeps. (both 4 door models) The Colorado being lighter is such a big advantage in the sand and loose stuff it is not even fair to compare it with the 2500 ZR2. Yes, it is much smaller inside but I grew up running the little 22RE Toyota 4wd's, so they are bigger than those lol. If you are looking for a truck to just haul light stuff and be able to go just about anywhere you want within reason this little beast is the ticket!

Fought a 30 to 40 mph headwind going out there Monday and got 15.5 coming back about a 20 mph quartering wind hitting me at about 4'oclock I got 24.9. Truck just turned 2k with oil changed last week at 500 miles with Amsoil.
