2023 zr2 wireless charging issues

Hey all.

I have the 2023 Silverado Zr2 with the facelifted interior.

Wireless charging barely works. Doesn't matter what phone etc it will start to charge then get the exclamation icon.

Anyone else have this problem?

Hello, I used to have the same problem. I found the solution by putting a piece that serves as a riser on the wireless charger.

Finally I found this and I bought it:

You can do a test before you buy it by putting a piece that serves as a spacer of at least 1 inch you can use foam, wood, plastic but don't use metal.

I bought this from PCB Techart. Works well. Just need to put some double sided tape on it, as it knock it out sometimes.

Usually between three or four times cycling it when it turns orange and then it'll stay green. Not ideal, but this is what's working for me... I notice the issue much more often when my battery is below 50%.

I have the same issue. I have 2022 ZR2 1500. Dealer told me it's my phone. But it's not

There is an update that is supposed to help fix it. It helped mine, but still not as good as my other truck. It might help to disable "fast charging"on your phone.

Otherwise they sell a replacement charging module that is under the pad. If i recall, they are about $200.

I got one of those 3D printed spacers and it fixed 95% of the issues I was having. Non maxx sized iPhone user here. This version has parts that go on the sides and keep the phone situated correctly.

I tried that spacer crap and it didnt fix anything. If I remove my case, the phone will charge just fine but I aint running around with it like that.

Iphone? Is it a magsafe type case?...maybe that is why mine works I don't know...Sure does charge really slow there anyway....ha

Not sure if it’d work in a 1500, but I put my phone in upside down (camera toward the console/rear)) and it’s significantly more reliable.

Samsung Galaxy s24 Ultra with case. My solution was to place it as far to the driver side as possible, crammed against the side of the charging well and it's working fine for me. Never was reliable if placed in the center or on the other side.
