Well after a few recent trips to the dealer I finally have all of the modifications (mostly) complete to my new ZR2!

Installed 17x9 -12 Fuel Shok bronze rims wrapped in 285/75R17 Falken Wildpeak AT4W tires. The dealer trimmed the front bumper a bit and removed the plastic trim behind the front tire so they wouldn’t rub.

Yes, I put tow mirrors and a dad cap on my ZR2! Might be the only one around, but I tow a fair amount and plan to do a few overland trips with it!

Right now the mirrors are missing a few of the features (turn signals and cargo lights) as well as the cameras aren’t aligned properly. They kind of point up to the sky.

Has anyone else put tow mirrors on their 1500? I’m assuming there is a door harness I need but wondering if anyone knows the part number. The dealer is looking into it as well, and I think I found one on Boost Auto Parts that should work too. TIA.

Looks good! I see those tow mirrors on 1500s around here. No direct experience but it must be workable cause I've 4 or 5 of them. Seen this 3.0L diesel with tow mirrors getting loaded up near my house.

Thanks! I’m sure I’ll get them figured out.

Have you figured out how to get the cameras working right?

Not yet. The dealer thinks they have an idea but I haven’t taken it back in yet cause I’ve been busy. I’ll keep you updated!

Looks good ! I have been researching tow mirrors and found this, look nice and you can selct the options: https://boostautoparts.com/products/t1-1500-chevy?options=&year=2024&make=Chevy&model=Silverado 1500

My question for you Sir, do you notice any additional wind noise form your tow mirrors at highway speeds ?

Those boost auto mirrors are decent! The only option they don’t have is the 360 cameras in them. So that feature won’t work.

I don’t notice any wind noise at all from them!

Truck is at the dealer today! They believe they have a fix. Hopefully I will have an update tomorrow.

I look forward to the results hopefully someone can do it down in Australia for me!

Did they fix the cameras?
Another trip to the dealer and still no luck fixing the camera angles. Sounds like it’s a software issue but GM doesn’t have a fix for it. A little disappointing but oh well. I’ll live with the skewed cameras.
