1.5 weeks into owning the ZR2

Just noting a few things I’ve experienced so far after almost two weeks of the 1500 zr2.

-About 330 miles per tank or so using 93.

- the sound system in the truck is…ok. Rear speakers are barely even contributing they’re so quiet. Think I’ve seen several threads about that here.

- performance has been great so far.

-living in DFW Texas, the heat is messing with the infotainment it seems. Slow, laggy screen response until the truck cabin has cooled off.

All in all though, pretty happy with it.

I’m in south Texas, haven’t had any issues with the infotainment system in relation to the heat yet.

I agree, sound system is “ok”. Considering my level of hearing loss it’s not worth it to upgrade

The fuel tank is my only complaint with this truck. My Tundra had a 38 gallon tank and the 24 on the Chevy is to small. Should have been at least 34 gallon.

Which is why unfortunately several of us have been looking into replacing it with a Titan Tank.

Cousin has the 6.2 version, I’ve had to bring him fuel a couple times hunting out west…it depletes pretty quick…nothing a six pack tax won’t cover though
