I've been trying for months to get a quote/purchase an extended warranty from Knapp Chevy from recommendations on this board.
I keep getting replies saying 'we sent you your quote, give us more info' I've sent the info many times, phone calls go unanswered. I've never had so much trouble spending $$ in my life!?
Anyone have any advice, if they don't want my business that's ok, just F'n tell me so!

I actually finally got an emailed quote but need to get a vehicle inspection done, that's fine but I'm not gonna spend $$ on n inspection if I can't speak to a actual person.

Here are some quotes for the GM Platinum P{lan.
4/40,000 with 250 deductible is 2572.00 100 deductible is 2776.00 0 deductible is 3035

5/50,000 is $3141 with 250, 3441.00 with 111 3815 with zero deductible.
An inspection is required.
See attachment for inspection forms.

You guys have any better options?

I'd just trade it at 3 years and put the $3k towards a new one. That's my new philosophy. I used to keep them a long time and never had problems, but now ain't the time for nostalgia. It's time for action to save you the aggravation.

You know Axe, that actually is a good idea...

I hate to even think of that, cause I like to outfit my rigs and drive them a while. Feel like I get the most bang for my buck driving them a long while. Just no confidence in current models I guess. My 22 only has 13k miles on it, probably lose my ass on it when it sell it later this year.

I just recently got an extended plan from Knapp. No issues getting the quote or getting someone on the phone. It was $2855 for 6yr 72Kmi with $100 ded. Whole process went smooth.

So does that kick in after your factory warranty or does it start day you pay?

Starts the day you purchase it. So I had 27K miles on the clock when I got it and it will take me out to just under 100K or 6 more years. Great thing is, shocks are included too lol. We all know those are expensive as hell and will pay for the warranty the first time they are all changed.

Blown or damaged shocks or worn shocks? I can't imagine they would warranty well used shocks.

It just says the struts and shocks are covered. Does not specify. My theory is it is left open to interpretation. I look at it as they aren’t working anymore and need to be replaced. lol. How that turns out in the end who knows

And I no longer have the original, wheels and tires, Brakes upgraded ,soon no GM computer
Or original motor... So if it blows up so what..lol
Only cuz I can...Have fun with it cuz it's worthless otherwise!

I still see them listed at what I think are decent prices here, but not sure what they are actually selling for .

Amazing! Chad answered the phone and is already setting up the paperwork, although he has to get approval as it's too close to my factory warranty ending. I said well if your associate had fixed me up months ago we'd be in a better place.
He's gonna call me back.
