What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? šŸ› ļø

Today I made the ZR2 watch while I bathed the fast one.

Greetings. I'm new! So, hello.

Having said that, can you describe where you have the weapon located and possibly provide a link to the product that you're using?

I got my truck Saturday and have just been tossing a PC Shield in the side storage (below the shifter). On my F-150, I used some E6000 to secure a kydex holster to the dash. I was going to replicate this in the new truck, but I'm curious as to what exactly you've done up above.

Thanks!

Here is an alternate take on weapons carrying. I don't use this daily, as I mostly carry IWB on my body. However, i wanted this setup for when I go on longer camping and hunting trips. The biggest drawback when you fill both cup holders, you lose that convenice. Everyone that sees it, can't get enough of it. "Where did you get that, it's so awesome".

I bought the seat mount system from Desert Does It. Link to Desert Does It

I used an Alien Gear ShapeShift holster setup mounted to the Desert Does It mount.

Thanks, but I'd prefer for anything inside to remain hidden. If I'm gonna travel with more than a pistol, I'd personally opt for another method. Appreciate it!

Both those are pistols on my dash. Hidden = useless. You can't get at anything quickly in a hard case. That's for transport not usability.

Added the Lasfit bedmat to the truck. I assume It will eventually lay down flat when it gets warmer out. Right now it looks like crap because its so warped lol.

If you have a tonneau cover, you could put a small electric heater in the bed and warm it up easily in the afternoon.

I have the tonneau cover but no small electric heater. The wife suggested getting the hair dryer out there but I wasnt about to sit there like that that long

Hair dryers are made to put out a lot of heat in a short time. They will oftentimes burn out or cut off due to overload.

You want to have it heated slowly and have the temp regulated..... say mid 70s.

Could also get your water heater to max temp, then hook up a hose and discharge hot water on it. It would likely flattened out.

Hmm the hot water is a good idea. May have to try that

Thanks Axe.

Nothing by me, per se. I had the serial gateway software update completed on my truck. And while it was at my local dealer, they performed a tailgate switch recall fix, so now my tailgate actually opens with the button out back, which is nice.

I also found a nice rattle at cold start-up, so a new passenger side muffler is on order.

For the work I did, it was mainly stocking the truck with tools and gear I typically carry in the truck. I also installed a trio of bull-ring retractable hooks in the bed, which I've found incredibly useful for tying down motorcycles.
