Underbody cameras on 1500 ZR2?

Hey guys. I really like the underbody camera/view that comes on the Colorado zr2. Is this compatible with the 1500's? Like can you buy the cameras from Chevy and have them wired and they work with the same system like you get on the Colorado's?

I wish! But unfortunately chevy doesn’t give the 1500 half the support they give the Colorado The closest thing you could probably get is the trailer cameras mounted underneath.

The ZR2 Silverado is like Arnold's kid with the maid. Chevy is our dad but they don't like to talk about us

When you think about it. The camera system for the Colorado is a GM part. So i should be able to order it from the parts department. The software is the exact same inside both trucks, so essentially all you have to do is mount the camera and plug it in.....right ?

You would think however if the truck didn’t come from the factory with it I have found it impossible or a real pita to integrate it.
