I’ve read reviews of both the Gator Recoil and Peragon Classic, but I’m wondering what the general consensus is about Peragon Classic retractable bed covers…
The cons I’ve heard are it leaks a lot, the panels are flimsy, and the way it retracts into the bed can be a pain if cargo slides to the front of the bed.
I’d buy the Peragon Classic version, but I’m concerned about the cons above and also how easily the surface is scratched. I don’t put stuff on top often, but I’ll throw some boat seat cushions, fishing rods, and beach chairs up there ever so often when loading up the boat.
My second choice is the Gator Recoil… it meets my needs, but reviews make it sound like it uses cheaper parts. It’s the same price, as well.
