To start off I hate trailer mirrors in general--when off road they blank out a lot of territory that you are trying to cross--that said i have always had a fix for towing with smaller mirrors--i could strap on aux mirrors if i towed --my 2015 hd diesel gave you a choice when ordering-----my 24 hd zr2 diesel came only with trailer mirrors--they sit so high that you cannot see people on the street [ie crosswalk] while executing a left or right turn--Im 5-10 and I have adjusted the seat up as high as it can go--these mirrors do not need to be so high--if they were just 3 inches lower it would fix this---does anyone know of a fix--such as an adapter to space them lower on the door--or to lower the actual mirror on the arm--or maybe a whole new assembly to work better--Boo Hoo---hh

You could probably do a direct swap with 1500 mirrors. The 1500s can be ordered with the same tow mirrors.

Also, you can fold the mirrors in if you need better viewing offroad or just use the cameras.
